SUCCESS!...kinda.
We came up with a slightly modified frame for the plexi this time around. Instead of sandwiching it in between two peices of cardboard we drilled holes into the corners and held them together with wire. this way they're lighter and easier to make.
The Windows/Apple ones from last night already got taken down sometime this afternoon so, we decided to paint the frames black so they won't stick out so much during the day (hopefully). Everything went up first try this time so I'd say we're pretty happy with how it turned out!

ReplyDeleteYou guys, leave the free streeter's alone. Don't you know they are just sticking it to the man and standing up against corporate greed. More power to them. Because in reality, Apple is a company that does not like money, unlike Microsoft, which does like money, so I get their argument. I mean really, Steve Jobs is not in business to make money, he wants to just make good products, that is his only desire...right?
ReplyDeleteI think you may be taking this too seriously. The Mac vs Microsoft debate rages yes, but it was merely meant to be light hearted message.
ReplyDeleteAs far as safety goes, it was definitely taken into consideration. From across the street the outline and light of the original signal is very clear, it's only till one is half way across the street that OUR message is clear. And in the day our cover is visible yes, but does almost nothing to the distort the light. So no, we are not worried that anyone's safety is in jeopardy.
Thank you for the concern though, it is odd that all of your comments are within minutes of each other...
