Frozen hands are the devils playground

-5 degrees and dropping out there. Tonight's project is a pair of old road signs salvaged from the used hardware store. We took the old beaten up signs and turned them into (hopefully) something a little more fun. When installing them we used an extra long bolt so we could beat it with a big wrench making it much much harder to dismantle.

One is an "FSF" throwie and the other is a play on Fargo's biggest and maybe most danced-around problem: Spring floods. For those not familiar; Fargo nearly sank under in 2009. 2010 wasn't as bad but the city did little to prepare itself for another disaster. Now we're coming up on spring again and are expected to meet if not exceed the water levels seen in 2009. Granted, now there have been moves to prepare and protect the community, there's still a lot of skepticism surrounding the cities competency to take care of the imminent situation.

It's really cold out.
